    Lipomo was not too far from Como itself with a good bus...

    Lipomo was not too far from Como itself with a good bus service available. Large supermarkets available, and would recommend a visit to the Joy Class Bistrot, which was close to where we stayed. Would recommend a visit to the Lido at Lake Montorfrano which is close by - we walked there. Also good base for a trip to Milan. Possibly lacking in a wide range of bars cafes - but we did not explore the town that much as we maximised our time in Como and at the house we were staying at. Close to the house were a range of woodland walks.
