very pleasant staff . everytime helped us in everything very clean , big room , cosy pillows and bed . very white towels . super clean bathroom . Felt some smell like somedays somebody was smoking in the room , or like some additional smell from ac - but it wasn’t critical . really 50 meters to the bus stop to Venice or to the railway station . some “problems” with buying tickets , but it is not concerned with the hotel - just advice for the next guests - to buy 2-3 more tickets when you meet Tabacco shop

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel! The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything you need. The staff is friendly, always ready to help and answer any questions. A perfect accommodation for few days to visit Venice. With bus/tram stop 1 min away of hotel to and from Venice/Mestre. Reading the other reviews, I don't know if it was just my luck or random chance. But.. the space was perfect for what I needed. A warm shower, cleanliness, restful bed. I can't really praise the pillows, otherwise, many greetings to the room service. I had clean towels every day. Also, the front desk staff was very friendly and communicative. Many thanks and greetings from Romania! I really recommend Laguna Residence Hotel with confidence!

    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    Good location, bus to venice saint lucia picks you up across the road from hotel and takes ten minutes. Close to train station. Parking was free and easy, onsite in secure location. Breakfast was good, plenty of options.
