Our hotel was placed in between Mascali and Riposto. We never went to Mascali but to Riposto. It’s old and run down. Whole town appears to close for siesta - check times before visiting. There is a faded charm to the town and a good long beach with some decent restaurants. Super pool area and clean well kept garden and surroundings with many different types of fruit trees. Apartment was spacious, with a large terrace area and although not brand new was in good condition and nicely furnished/equiped. Nice coffee shop/gelateria and small grocery store are close by.
