Excellent location. Beautiful private hotel beach which is very special for swimming and snorkeling. Very nice mediterranean garden. Very good good food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the hotel restaurant. The room was comfortable. The staff was very kind, nice and helpful. They speak English.

Da Michele truly captures the Italian spirit — warm, informal, and community-centered. This place has it all: sea, mountains, charming villages, and nature. The views are mind-blowing! The property itself feels like a boho-style Bali retreat — modern, stylish, and so comfortable. We absolutely loved it. Even more special, the owner built this place with his family while working hard every day. He was incredibly attentive, prepared breakfast for us, always sweet and approachable. Staying here felt personal, genuine, and unforgettable. Also it is close to all : 5 min drive to beach and city. Strongly recommend — a rare gem full of beauty, heart, and soul! Thanks so much! Fantastic apartment terrace with good furniture and a spectacular view of the bay. Good bathroom size, useful kitchenette with ample utensils/pans and the bed was very comfortable with useful wardrobes in the bedroom. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the gardens were lovely.

Magnificent view and setting with great facilities including pools and spa. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and really well looked after during our stay. Great private beach just two minutes drive with sun loungers and umbrellas.

    Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful!

    Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful! The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk. Loved the live music in the town on some nights, the restaurants get busy and some needed booking.

    The apartment was well equipped Parking was beside the unit Wifi was terrible and very unreliable Not located in the township A huge complex of units Glad that we went out of season as It would be a very noisy place during summer as the apartments are close together

    The only way to get here is by car and there really is not...

    The only way to get here is by car and there really is not much to do in the area. Mattinata is a quaint town with a few eateries which are not that varied. To access the beach again is a drive with parking a problem at times. We went to Vieste for the day but it was a hair raising drive home in the dark. We also went to Monte St. Angelo which again is worth seeing but only a day is needed for here. Manfredino is not a very picturesque area quite industrial in parts. A week is long enough in this area and you will have seen all there is to see. However it is a lovely destination if you are happy to be by the pool for a relaxing break, although it is 2 hours from the airport.

    Cozy city on a hill-side.

    Cozy city on a hill-side. A couple of good restaurants (with a sea / city overlooking view), make sure you make a reservation to those ones, we were there off-season, and had difficulties having a table... Main street closed for cars (which is good) during season. Find you parking areas just outside centre (2 min walk), inner city streets are Italian, so it might be easier to park outside centre.

    Lovely village having 2 parts: one up on the hill with...

    Lovely village having 2 parts: one up on the hill with pretty narrow streets & one down by the seaside, where houses/villas/B&Bs are hidden by an orchid of olive trees. Highly recommended to go only to the restaurants/masserias/trattoria that are on the beach - the menu & quality of the dishes is excellent!

    We had the pleasure of staying and we must say, it was an absolute delight! Were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality that lasted throughout my entire stay. The Hotel is located just oustisde town in a lovely Olive field. The breakfast was a delight, offering a wide range of local italian products. The quality of the food was outstanding, Michele was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. This place was a haven of relaxation, In conclusion, our was nothing short of exceptional.

    The location is MARVELOUS, incredible! The most wonderful view I had in all my trips. I knew this hotel 44 years ago, and it still is something magic. A unique experience! The hotel is great and the staff truly kind and professional. We had a wonderful time!

    We booked the double room with terrace and loved everything about it. Mattinata is a buzzing little town with lots of bars, restaurants with excellent food and a great atmosphere. Beautiful shingle beaches nearby with a good choice of lidos.
