The city itself is a gem and the hotel is located right at the heart of it. The staff is super nice and gives great restaurant recommendations. The room is clean and kinda authentically nice. The parking lot is a bit out of the city, but not far. It's like a 5-8 min walk from the hotel and it's free. There's also a temporary parking space in front of the hotel to unload your car.

Great hotel, it is theoretically 3* but should be 4* in my opinion. Beautifully located among the wineries with spectacular view on San Gimignone and surrounding hills. Great restaurant with very good meat selection as well as local wines. We’d love to stay longer!

Location, very calm and beautiful place to rest and get out of the crowd. In a few minutes we have we need in reach. The kindness and hospitality of all the staff,without exception, was really amazing and they really care genuinely about their guests and will put all the effort to help and solve your problem. Next time I hope to have more days to visit all the surroundings that were pending this time.

Set in lovely location close to San Gimignano, we booked it as part of our honeymoon roadtip - the room was stunning, with a great size and spectacular views to the village! The central location is brilliant. The view of the square from the balcony was amazing. The room was lovely and likewise the bathroom. We had breakfast on one morning in the restaurant, which was fantastic. Such a wonderful choice. I would stay in Hotel La Cisterna again in a heartbeat! Thank you! We also had a fantastic wine-tasting experience with Giorgia in the Fontanaleone shop to the left of the hotel on the square. A highlight of our stay in San Gimignano!
