It is difficult to describe the hotel as you won't be able to give the correct impression. Very quiet area, the rooms facing the lake are a piece of paradise with the sound of waves. Good breakfast and the staff were all amazing with a big smile at the reception, provided help as much as they can. Would strongly recommend this hotel for a quiet weekend for couples.

The host (and her family) is superfriedly. The house is a nice Italian house. The garden and swimming pool is very nice. The full second floor has been made available. The big plus of the house is the huge balcony with a lovely View on the lake. There is a private parking space so no need to park on the street. The second flow includes apart from the balcony a living room, bath room, sleeping room (3 beds) and kitchen.

    Absolutely amazing. The hotel is right on the water (while most other are behind the road), the view is exceptional, the room are big and clean with quality beddings, the staff is very helpful and nice. There is a delicious restaurant attached to the hotel. You can also be served breakfast in the room. But if you feel like going out there is a lovely cafe a few meters away right on the water. Would come back in a heartbeat.

    We had a extraordinary vacation at the lago Maggiore. Letizia is amazing. She tells you everything you need and is very helpful everyday. The view on the lago is fantastic. We liked sitting on the balcony until it got cold in the evening. The region is full of old houses, churches (Belgirate), beautiful nature and, of course, real tasty italian food. We will come back one day for sure.

    We had a lovely time at La Limonaia. The house is charming and the view of the lake is breathtaking. For us, it was a great base to explore Lago Maggiore and the surroundings during the day, while in the evening we could just admire the lake with a glass of wine.

    Beside the beautiful sights from the hotel to the lake and the room's comforts, for us, what was important was the attitude from the staff and the response to our situation that was great as one of our children got sick and we needed some extra attention.

    It’s a beautiful, fully renovated apartment with a stunning view over lago maggiore - nicer than the pictures suggest. The interior is bright and modern, but warm/cozy. Location is excellent, with shops and restaurants in Arona and the lake front nearby.
