Superb location literally a minute from the Duomo. Staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with a huge variety of salumi, fresh cheeses, pastries, hot breakfast items etc (the bacon is best I ever had), cereals. The coffees are also outstanding.

Gorgeous and a large room! Everything was perfect! The bed was so comfortable and it was very quiet despite facing the street. The shower has great water pressure. The restaurant has a bar downstairs and we had the best time on my husband's birthday. We will definitely book here again in the future.

The hotel made every effort to meet our needs and requests. The reception staff are very helpful and warm. We ordered a standard double but the room was very spacious. It was very quiet and we rested well. The breakfast was good. The breakfast room atmosphere was pleasant and elegant. The breakfast wait staff was very efficient and helpful. I really liked the room — perfect size for one person or a couple (medium size people😅). The room and the bathroom were very clean. I was scared of cold night and asked Nicolo for another blanket. He brought super clean blanket in a packaging from a cleaner. It made me think that the hosts seriously take care of sanitary issues. Nicolo is very nice host and happy to make your stay comfortable as much as possible. The location is good for those looking for quite place. It is very close to the subway and bus stops. It takes about 15 min to reach Duomo area.

    the hotel was fabulous.

    the hotel was fabulous. It was well located and the room and bathroom were both spacious. Staff was very nice. the Duomo was a 3 minute walk away. The castle was a bit further but still walkable. The restaurant, Paper Moon is well worth the visit. We would go back to Milan in a heartbeat.

    There’s great stuff in Milan, but don’t come here expecting...

    There’s great stuff in Milan, but don’t come here expecting it to be Rome or Venice. You can probably see all the major tourist sites in a day or so. Fantastic selection of gluten free options (Bazac a huge highlight). Consider using this as a base for trips to Varenna and Como. As with Italy in general, taxis are expensive and if you use Uber you’ll have to use Uber Black. This can add up quickly.

    Good transport links and loads to see and do. The castle was fantastic. Bring your walking shoes to see it, it was huge. Coffee in front of the Duomo was wildly wildly overpriced, but La Magolfa restaurant in Navigli made up for it by being so cheap for such a wonderful meal.

    Milan is a vibrant city which we loved.You need to be aware of the intensity of the people visiting as it is a tourist Mecca. The train stations were intense and you need to leave plenty of time to deal with the volume of people while moving around Milan. The Local people were very welcoming to us and helpful and kind. We felt safe……..but I would imagine it must be frustrating for them to have that intensity of visitors everyday.

    We were surprised at how much we enjoyed Milan.

    We were surprised at how much we enjoyed Milan. We've been to Italy multiple times and this was our first stay in Milan. We were there for three days and it was enough time to see everything we wanted to see. The food was delicious and although we are not interested in fashion, there was plenty of places to spend your money. We enjoyed Milan and would recommend a stay there to others.

    I love Milan.

    I love Milan. It’s a very safe city with good transport connections, great food, and I like it as a base to visit places like the Lakes, Brescia etc. The only downside is the poor Wi-Fi in so many places.

    First impressions is disappointing. Our room was very used and dirty. But Sergio from management, done his best to upgrade us for another room and we were satisfied with the new one. Actually rooms should be as soon as possible renovated, because they are very used, that’s ours star down. But staff and breakfast was incredible. Location very good. Close to city centre and to many attractive locations in Milano. Ours 4 stars from 5 for this Hotel.

    The location is great with cafes, restaurants, tram and metro all handy to the hotel. The room was comfortable and functional. Shower pressure was great. Porta Roma is a nice quiet area of Milan where there are more locals than tourists. It's only 3 metro stops to the Duomo and city centre which was a bonus.
