Excellent friendly welcome. 3 family generations living at the historic premises. Hard working, kind people. Rooms have been renovated to a high standard. Comfortable bed with large shower. Private parking onsite. We sampled the wines which we highly recommend. The village had a festival in the evening, the roads were closed for the food and wine stalls - a great time had by all. We will definitely go back again. We loved our stay.

We arrived at Corte Grisela without any great expectations, as we had no previous experience with agritourism, and we were absolutely delighted. The accommodation is cozy and with three rooms very manageable. As a result, the contact with Cornelia, Michela and Nicola is very informal and you feel looked after and in good hands around the clock. The breakfast in particular is an absolute highlight, we've never really experienced anything like it. The location is also perfect. The quiet area allows you to slow down, which is important to us on vacation. Right in the vineyards, it's easy to switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet. But you can quickly reach surrounding cities such as Verona, Vizenza or Venice, which means you can also experience the lively cities. It was an absolute pleasure to be guests at Corte Grisela and we can only warmly recommend everyone to visit the accommodation for themselves.

In some 30 visits to Italy, I have never seen a more beautiful restoration and reinvigoration of a classic property. The modernisation is subtle and sensitive. The grounds and the hotel are a joy to be in (as is the must-see Villa Pisani designed by Palladio in the gardens). The staff are warm and not 5-star formal, kind and helpful. The food is delicious in the pretty restaurant, the rooms large and flawless. This is one of the great Italian countryside hotels and (to my thinking) way underpriced. I have paid three times as much for country hotels far inferior to this. The calm and elegance are a real joy to experience.

Staff were genuinely lovely, and super helpful. Gave us tips about where to eat and was really nice to chat to on the front desk. To quote my friend: “it put a smile on my face”. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was exactly what we needed. A perfect place to use as a base to explore the local area or visit surrounding cities and towns.
