Booked last moment at 10pm as my friend felt sick, nevertheless everything worked almost instantly. At night my friend felt even worse and we were not really able to checkout on time. The lady let us stay as much as we need, so the friend had enough time to recover after the sleepless night. The terras is very cozy, you can make a fresh orange/lemon juice for breakfast. Coffee, croissants, tea, equipped kitchen. Also on the terras each of us have found or luck 🍀 Our bikes spent safe night at the ground floor. Thanks a lot for the stay!

The host was very nice! Although we found it a bit much talking at arrival since we just came from a long drive and just wanted to relax and not talk for 30min. :) But super friendly and always there when you need something! It was a super clean apartment and very beautiful. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Everything was amazing at this resort. Beautiful boutique resort, with wonderful facilities and excellent staff, especially Domenica, who were so friendly and kind. Alessandro was so accommodating and always available. Absolutely the perfect place to enjoy Calabria and surrounding region. Highly recommend. Must stay here again.

Emilio is an amazing host who went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our stay was lovely. The sunset view from our room balcony looking out onto the Mediterranean was absolutely beautiful. The decor of the room was so warm & cosy. The parlour as we entered our room was so welcoming.The owner of the property was extremely welcoming and accommodating.

After a two day journey from Tirol we arrived in Palmi after driving through an exciting and powerful rainstorm along the Calabrian coast. We wove our way down to the sea cliff in the darkness and arrived at an impressive gate which had been opened by our Host. Below the Olive trees to the left was a row of roof covered parking spaces. To the right we could see the impressive Residence La Marinella shining through the rainy night. Our Host greeted us in English and led us down the elegantly curved marble staircase to the middle level of the Residence where we could also see the swimming pool glowing in the night. Saverio checked us in and gave us a tour of our spacious apartment. Upon asking for restaurant recommendations he kindly called in a reservation at l'uliveto, an excellent Pizzaria! The next morning we awoke to the sound of the crashing surf and the remnants of the storm that we had driven through the night before. The view from our terrace was breathtaking. The silhouette of Sicily burst through the dark purple clouds across the stormy Mediterranean. After a leisurely brunch that we prepared in our fully equipped kitchen we sauntered our way to the bay below. The rugged stony bay is lined with fishermen's boats pulled out the wave's reach. The weather cleared and allowed us to spend many mornings sunning on our terrace while breakfasting with an amazing view of Etna. Our days found us adventuring from shore to shore across the Spectacularly Beautiful Calabrian landscape and nights on our terrace enjoying the sunset with a delicious dinner and a bottle of excellent Calabrian wine. Mille Grazie to our Hosts for the Superb accommodations and their Heartwarming Friendliness and Generosity.

    This hotel is in the most gorgeous location with wonderful views over the sea towards Stromboli, Lipari, Volcano and Sicily. The room was very attractive, well equipped and comfortable and there is a lovely small pool situated in a garden. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and there was even an electric charger for our car. We especially enjoyed dinner on the terrace overlooking that amazing view - just idyllic!

    Good hosts that brought us from the station to the hotel with no extra charge. The place was clean and perfectly equipped for two people. We had to ask for a few things, but the hosts were very accommodating and supported us throughout the stay. Some basics were provided e.g. coffee/tea and some water upon arrival. Beach very close by, under 5 min walk.

    Great location with ocean view, with easy driving access to Tropea to the north and Scilla to the south. The owners of the property took us to the property after meeting us in Palmi. They gave us information about the area, local tips and were very hospitable.
