Vista B&B is very modern. The manager and owner were amazing in assisting us with what ever we needed. There was a train strike in Italy and the owner organised a driver for us to take us the best station.. They went beyond there services to help us.

My wife and I stayed for one night only. The gentleman at the reception was extremely kind and offered assistance for our luggage as the hotel has no elevator. However, ou overnight luggage was light enough to carry it upstairs. From our room - not quite new but everything in place and in good shape - we enjoyed the panoramic view over lago d'Orta. We arrived after a long journey and were very pleased by the excellent restaurant. Again here, value for money was unbeatable. Fine homemade Italian pasta, excellent wine list at reasonable prices, dessert and digestivo. A perfect meal. Finally, the breakfast left no wishes open; it was far better than the tradtional Italian breakfast known from other places. We plan to come back.

We visited in winter, the room was well heated, the owner of the place was charming and friendly, the price is very reasonable and the service is excellent. The location is also very convenient - minutes away from the center of Varallo but far enough from the center that there is plenty of parking.

    We stayed in Alzo, part of Pella apparently, but its own little village up the hill somewhat on the west side of Lago d'Orta. The square looks over the lake: fantastic view with a small village feeling. Post office, lodging choices, church, dining (Osteria del Gallo), bank, all a short drive down to Pella or up more to the homes and sights high above.

    - location (Pella is beautiful and the appartment is 5mins walk from the lake) - spacious - fully equiped - big bathroom with good shower and washing machine - very nice host with good tips - nice outdoor garden - free parking (on the street) - next to a really nice place for sandwiches and pizza to take away - 5 mins drive per car or bike from the beach

    The host Alessandra is very welcoming and accomodating. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. Good value for money. Alzo is a nice town more easily reached by car but we managed with ferries and the local bus. The bus stop is 100 meters away and Pella is really close - you just have to get down a bit.

    Fantastic location at the lakes edge and between two nearby ferry stops. Easy to get to Orta San Giulio by ferry while being able to enjoy a more peaceful time a little off the main tourist trail in Pella.
