Appartment is fully and thoughtfully equipped with all the things a guest might need. The host was very responsive, kind and had excellent recommendations on local food options and also other things. The location is great and the view spectacular. It's a 10 minute walk to the old town and there's also a free bus option 200m away. Convenient parking in front of the two-appartment house. I would be very happy to stay here again.

We fell in love with Pitigliano and il Cantuccio is a great place to stay to visit the town. Communication before our arrival was also very good with essential information on parking. The accommodation is in a very old building which has been tastefully renovated and is very close to a variety of restaurants. We had a great stay and are very happy to recommend il Cantuccio.

Superb arrival instructions. Huge and spacious. Someone came to receive us and was very thoughtful even though little English was spoken. Parking was easy on the street outside. Also very walkable to the grand vista of Pitigliano and the town centre, and a nearby supermarket.

The location is very clean and charming designed. Very nice modern shower. Everything seems new. The room is in the center of the town, in the morning it feels like you are part of the locals when the town slowly awakens. I really enjoyed this. I had my window open, but when it was closed it was still. The owner was very friendly and helpfull, she makes you feel at home and very welcome.

    This town is the most dramatically amazing and beautiful place to behold 🤩 I have been many times and it is magical. So special ! You feel it in your heart and the history all around and spectacular views with plenty of space and amazing restaurants and bars .     Beautiful Etuscan town that can be done in 1-2 days. It is a walkable town and amazing views of the town from the lookout. There are ample cafes and restaurants and the artisan shops are worthwhile visiting.

    We spent quite a bit of time in the old synagogue & learning...

    We spent quite a bit of time in the old synagogue & learning about the history of Pitigliano. We ate at an amazing restaurant at the back of the main square - quite expensive but lovely friendly service & superb food. We had a minor issue with car parking & in fact were issued a ticket by the local carabiniere. They were very sympathetic to our misunderstanding the restrictions, but couldn’t revoke the ticket as it had already been printed. That said it was less than 30e so we factored that into our trip. Future travellers make sure you check parking out. You can only get around on foot as the village is quite compact.

    We travelled to Pitigliano for a long weekend in February. The town is lovely and well-situated as a base for local travel. We had a car; not sure how well one could get around with public transportation. The restaurants that were open were all very good, but many were closed for the season. It was nice not having a deluge of tourists to deal with, but later in the year when everything is open would probably be a better time to visit.

    The picturesque town of Pitigliano is a perfect base to explore Tuscany. The old town has charming and beautiful buildings, artisan shops, a cathedral and a synagogue, and the Via Cave is perfect for an interesting country walk, with lots of history and stunning landscapes.

    Pitigliano is 100% worth a visit and you have to explore the Vie Cave nearby. Good restaurants and bars for a nice aperitivo. Parking is paid in the blu outlined parking spaces or free in the white ones (both in the new part of the town). Sorana and Sovrano are also worth a visit either by a hike, bike ride or just a short drive.

    The location was really convenient since the apartment is 5-7mins far from the popular streets of Pitigliano. Traditional place with view of the nature. The communication with the host was very clear (via whatsapp). The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Info was given by the host for a free parking area 2 mins far from the apartment (to reach the place you need to use some stairs). Typical Italian breakfast was included in the price in a central pastry shop 10’ far walking from the apartment (brioche and coffee).

    The room was in one of the most unique locations I'd ever stayed in. It is built directly into the fortress wall of Pitigliano and consisted of 3 levels, that have been in use for hundreds of years. Essentially, it is a cave (in a good way) which had a balcony that hung out over the fortress wall. The location was ideal too. It was just a set of stairs way from the main gate but yet was incredibly quiet due to its proximity in the wall.

    Great location in centre of the beautiful village of Pitigliano. Free parking available just a short walk from the B&B and you can drop off luggage right in front. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Room was clean and well equipped. Appreciated having a small fridge. Breakfast was amazing and hosts very helpful and welcoming.

    When we arrived, Valentina welcomed us warmly. The room was nice and clean, and the surroundings were quiet. It was also nice to relax by the pool. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying at this accommodation, which is only a 5 minute drive from the lovely town of Pitigliano.
