*The staff is the SOUL of this property, super nice and friendly, especially the night-shift staff. *Property owner allowing staff to make decision about room rate per situation (like hot water outage, etc.) is really appreciated because guests will definitely feel the property really concern about their comfort and benefit during the stay. My partner and I were driving from middle to North Italy and stopped here overnight. It's just off the motorway, which is really convenient, it's 24 hour check in (we checked in at 11.30pm), the rooms are really clean, good shower pressure, comfortable (firm) beds.

These people were such kind and wonderful hosts. They made us a fabulous pot of latte coffees and snacks after hiking up the mountain. It's an oasis at the top, right beside the monastery. Delicious restaurant.

Hotel Charleston is based five minutes walk from the Roman Theatre where we saw a great show. The location is perfect! Also, the stuff was were very kind – they upgraded us to a superior room and also booked for us a great restaurant called Sabatini. Highly recommended!
