Nice restaurants, good food, nice prices and nearby beach, I would avoid staying at the apartment we booked called Gocce Siciliane Apartments. Embellished photos, dirty balcony, no parking for the apartment and fridge slightly bigger than a matchbox. Its really nice and quiet while only a stone's throw away from the major attractions. It has some very good places to eat out and it is very easy to get around by foot. It does have rather un-reliable public transport connections though as well as having some areas with an aweful lot of garbage and untaken care of public areas. A very friendly and efficient check in. The town of Porto Empedocle is a short hop away, but the hotel is situated in a quiet area around the bay, right on the beachfront. I would recommend boking a room with a balcony. A good breakfast was taken on the terrace looking out to sea.
