Simply fantastic, best location with free parking lot outside ZTL zone. Entering the lift at the ground floor to reach upper side/right in the center by their lift! ALL staffs were extreamly friendly and helpful with all the questions. Very clean. Breakfast area on the terrace was breathtaking. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

Very nice room on the 1st floor with balcony. Quiet garden and nice spots to have breakfast with a variety of local products. Excellent people working at reception, they helped us a lot with an urgent problem we faced.

Fantastic small hotel! Our room (102) was very quiet and had a small balcony where we could sit in the shade. Perfect! Stunning breakfast, everything in small portions so that you can taste all the different options. And the best thing is: breakfast is on a roof top terrace. You sit in the shade, enjoy the morning breeze and the stunning view.

    Ragusa is a beautiful town full of churches and baroque achitecture. At night time it comes to life with a lovely family friendly dining atmosphere. It is very hard to walk around- the hills make it a hard walk, and the days can be hot. Apart from eating and drinking and building watching there is not a lot in Ragusa, so a day or two is plenty. If you dont like churches and architecture, I would skip.

    its a beautiful decadent Sicilian city, very laid back, nothing happens between 12.30 and 4 pm because everyone is having a siesta. Ibla is very beautiful, Baroque architecture and very picturesque. if you are after a relaxing laid back getaway for a couple of days Ragusa is worth visiting

    The 20 minute walk is down manystair so could be a challange for older people but there is bus and cab service within easy walking distance, The train ride in town is a must and seeing it both during the day and at night is needed to get the best experience.

    So many steps and hills

    So many steps and hills If you cannot do these you would be stuck for sure The sightseeing train negates all this but you still need to get to it and it's not Hop on Hop off so just a straight tour round Local buses are great and cheap If using Google maps when walking around bear in mind narrow steep steps are classed as a part of the route Two days is enough for sure I stayed 5 nights 4 days and spent 2 days at the beach and still did all the tourist bits Buses to get get from airport are great as is straight back to airport Wanting to travel to Modica, Noto, Siracusa is a different story. Few and far between and not many direct. Lots of changes Gi Ro Street food is lush but drinks are expensive from here The cafe / restaurant round the corner in Piazza della Repubblica sells cheaper drinks to drink there and take home Just past Gi Ro are steps to a car park Bus from here is direct to Marina di Ragusa Bus from Piazza della Repubblica takes you to bus station in Ragusa then you change onto the bus which comes from the car park, which is silly as the two stops in Ragusa Ibla are less then 5 minutes from each other

    If in doubt about anything, ask the locals for help,...

    If in doubt about anything, ask the locals for help, especially in the shops, they would gladly help, and they even try to speak English. One place we enjoyed eating in is the Delicatessen in Drogheria. Basically it is a delicatessen and grocery store, but has a restaurant attached to it. The food is freshly made, and cheap, and all the staff are excellent and know how to treat a person well, in fact one ends up making friends with them.

    Ragusa was an extremely charming and beautiful baroque town. It was my favourite one as it was wonderful to stroll through and wasn’t crowded. We enjoyed the views from Ragusa Superiore. We also enjoyed sitting and reading in the garden.

    Everything was perfect! Location, staff, room and breakfast were all wonderful! The best place we stayed in Sicily by a long way. Very interesting old building that has been modernised in a very tasteful way to keep the character of the building. Bfast was amazing! Thanks so much would highly recommend and would certainly return if we head back to lovely Ragusa!

    The hotel was well located for us to drop bags and park and was a ten minute walk to the centre of Ibla Ragusa. The hotel room was extremely comfortable, plenty of space and a really nice bathroom. The staff were very helpful and kind and breakfast was delicious.

    My room was small, but very comfortable and had a nice view of Ibla. The hotel is located right at the edge of Ragusa Ibla, just a short walk from sights and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious - mostly sweet, as it's traditional in Italy, but great quality.
