Couldn’t recommend this property enough. Wonderful, helpful staff, easy check in, superb location (less than 5 minutes walk to the train station and across the street from where you catch the ferry, short walk to the beach). The view from the room is stunning. Didn’t need any more.

Nice property very well located opposite to the old castle with direct access to the ocean, just a few steps to the promenade and old town with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The suits are amazing with a huge terrace including table and chairs and sun chairs with a great outlook over the ocean and promenade, we really recommend to stay here

Beautiful hotel wih rich history, comfortable, located in the centre of Rapallo - only 10 minutes walk from promenade. Private parking for 25 Euro but we parked our car for free along the street, 100 metres from hotel. Rich breakfast with variety of meals, fruites, vegetables. You can sit inside the restaurant or on the terrase with view over the centre.

    Rapallo was fine but just to say a few more words about the hotel: the staff was very gracious, they even let us use some plates one day to have a lovely picnic outside and hooked us up with ice and glasses and things to enjoy our summer feast outdoors. They were so wonderful! They have created so much beauty on their property for guests to enjoy! It was truly lovely. I felt like I was in paradise! Rapallo was just OK for me. It seemed touristy and the food in town was my least favorite of my trip. Like they didn't care much about the quality of food they are serving the tourists. I get it, but it was just not very thrilling. But that's the effects of tourism. I was also surprised to learn that the beaches cant be accessed by everyone, as in the US. However, it is a beautiful town, the shops, bakeries, culinary stores are nice and I enjoyed them.

    Rapallo is a beautiful town.

    Rapallo is a beautiful town. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops. We travelled by train down to the Cinque Terre and all journeys were easy to navigate. The boat trip from Rapallo to Portofino was a lovey way to spend a few hours.

    Rapallo was charming.

    Rapallo was charming. Beautiful historical center with a nice choice of restaurants. We found it easy to get to Cinque Terra by train. We also traveled to Porta Fino by bus and returned by ferry - both were very scenic trips.

    Rapallo is a lovely town, with great facilities.

    Rapallo is a lovely town, with great facilities. We used it as a hub to travel by public transport to the places we wanted to visit. We went by ferry to Portofino (or bus, if the weather stops the ferries running) and by train to Genoa, Pisa and Cinque Terre.

    Rapallo is a great base for the Ligurian coast.

    Rapallo is a great base for the Ligurian coast. Not as spectacular as the Cinque Terre, or Portofino, but so much more pleasant. And so much less expensive and crowded. For me, Rapallo had the ideal mix of tourists and locals. And great access to trains and ferries to visit other towns on the coast.

    Water of the ocean is super dirty but if you walk for 40 min from Santa Margherita ligure the water of the ocean starts being better but Rapallo city is beautiful and a nice night life though if you wanna eat an ice cream consider that even during summer time high season the lazy shops close by 23 pm approx as well as restaurants

    This is a superb hotel, from the welcome and free room upgrade to checkout it was a pleasure to stay All the staff where so incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities where excellent especially the outside area with its exceptional pool which is really big. We had booked a garden view room and requested a upgrade just before we arrived and that's exactly what we got, a sea view room with a view to die for... it made our stay even more special...     This lovely hotel was full of character and certainly had all facilities needed for a short break. It's not cookie cutter modern and this is what we loved 🤩 . The staff were so lovely and welcoming and always had a smile which can be a very rare thing these days. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but had so much variety and something for everyone 😍...as well as a fabulous coffee machine x You could pay a lot more for a stay in Rapallo and get a lot less!

    We had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, always ready to meet our needs. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the city center, allowing us to fully enjoy our vacation. Additionally, the private parking covered, secure and a large entrance right next to the hotel added peace of mind to our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Rapallo.
