The accommodation is very modern and well maintained. The staff are absolutely lovely and we had a very nice stay there. Dinner was very good in a lovely setting with helpful staff. Breakfast was quite possibly the best we've had in Italy, it was brilliant! I would have no hesitation recommending Albergo del Cuore for a stay in Ravenna.

Once a capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna is a walker’s paradise and is home to several historical landmarks, magnificent mosaics, great fashion outlets, and charming streets lined with cafés, restaurants and bars.

    Ravenna is a real gem.

    Ravenna is a real gem. Charming, largely car-free streets in the old city with great architecture and inviting squares. So much to see apart from the incredible mosaics. We especially enjoyed the Byron Museum and the Museo del Risorgimento. Alas, didn't have time for the Dante Museum. Also took in some short classical music performances in beautiful venues - i.e. a church and a theatre. The food was also excellent. Downside is the swarms of cruise-ship passengers who crowded the streets on one of the days so good idea to see main attractions early in the morning.

    The venue was well placed for railways and surrounded by the many beautiful sights of local churches, sites and eateries. You can spend hours just walking around locally to see the many sites and features. We wished we lived nearer to visit again.

    We were joining a cruise in Ravenna and after looking at details of the City decided to add extra nights to our holiday. The location was was only a 10min walk from the railway station but also within walking distance of the attractions in Ravenna. The city is home to churches with stunning mosaics that added an extra dimension to our holiday. The city had a really good safe feel with numerous cafes and restaurants and an ideal location for a short break or to add to a longer holiday.

    Ravenna is not too big, but has a very beautiful old city centre. The various basilisks are a must see if you ask me. Enough nice restaurants and bars available. The beach is clean and very wide. Ravenna surprised me in a very positive way.

    The city is beautiful. It is also very clean. The churches with its mosaics are what i wanted to visit. The workmanship on the mosaics is extraordinary. It was why I wanted to visit Ravenna. The city is very walkable. There are lots of taxis, whose drivers are very professional and happy to take you either for a short ride or long one. The drivers are gracious and very proud of their city.

    Beautiful little town with numerous amazing sights to visit. Excellent value entrance ticket that includes the 5 main sights for 12 euros. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from, most definitely worth a visit for a few days.

    We had a wonderful time at Sei Sequoie and would definitely recommend or stay there again, if i was ever again in the area. the hotel has been recently (2025) refurbished with an incredible attention to detail. as a designer, i can appreciate the effort that has gone into making this hotel as perfect as it is, and they have achieved it, in bundles. it is definitely one of the nicest boutique hotels i have stayed at, and the restaurant is also very impressive with the best steak in the region - 10/10

    We had a wonderful stay in the heart of Ravenna. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and a very comfortable atmosphere. The location could not be better – right in the city center, close to everythng. Our host Andrea was extremely kind and always ready to help, and the hotel staff who manage the property were equally lovely and professional. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!
