The best on the Cinque Terre villages in our opinion. Plenty of restaurants to choose from or takeways to sit in the harbour and eat plus bars. No cover charges like the other resorts we visited. Great atmosphere. The Cinque Terre is overpriced in general not just for food/drink but also the tourist tax/ train tickets/ walking trails etc. but as long as you know this it is a lovely place so you need to tick the area off your listGuest review byCaroline - 10.0

Riomaggiore was a great spot for us to stay. It is a beautiful little village, with many restaurants, cafes and bars but also quiet in the evenings and mornings. Riomaggiore is the first of the five villages and is a truly magical place! The harbour is particularly enchanting, both from the land and from the sea. Because of its situation, one can easily reach the other villages as well as Portovenere. In the harbour, Lo Scalo Lounge Bar offers great cocktails for people watching and catching your breath. Further into town, there’s a couple restaurants and foccaceria for those in need (in particular La Torpedine and Bakery Rosi). One great thing to do is to either rent a kayak or go on a sunset tour with Cinque Terre Adventure Boat Tour, which will allow you to create magical memories - ask for Matteo to be your guide, his knowledge and passion are excellent!Guest review byThomasBelgium - 10.0
Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre.
Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre. We took the train one morning to Monterossa. And then hiked the entire distance back to our apartment. About 15 miles, because one section of the coastal trail was closed. Lots of elevation gain/loss. Took us about six hours, including stops. The wine, beer, pesto and pasta provided was a lovely touch. Amazing view from the property and it was great to have access to a washing machine & kitchen. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cinque Terre! Note, the best way to get there from the train station is to take the public lift up, less than five minutes walk from there without any stairs.
