The towels are luxuriously soft, with extra ones thoughtfully offered for the swimming pool. The orangery dining area is absolutely immaculate, with the softest napkins I have ever experienced—an understated yet beautiful touch that makes each meal feel special. The gardens are a work of art—manicured, refined, and enhanced by perfect lighting that makes evenings here magical. Each room feels special, with thoughtful design touches and a unique character. We had a wonderful stay at Casetta56! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The place itself is beautiful, very peaceful, and perfectly maintained. Our room was comfortable, with everything we needed, and we loved the view of the garden. Breakfast was delicious and the swimming pool was warm and inviting – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Casetta56 to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great hospitality!

This is a beautiful place in a very quiet location. The pool is fantastic and the rooms very comfortable. The host Carmelo is indefatigable and he is always working on maintaining the property and offering help (like recommending local restaurants and booking them for us). We will come back!

    Russi is a bedroom community, a suburb of Ravenna (although...

    Russi is a bedroom community, a suburb of Ravenna (although the train connection to/from Ravenna is not the best: last reasonable train back to Russi leaves Ravenna at 20:44). There are two active restaurants in these Covid times, both were closed the first night of our stay. If you are planning to visit Ravenna, book in advance so that you can get a good deal at an accommodation you can walk home to at night.
