Schio is a beautiful town in Italy.
Schio is a beautiful town in Italy. I have been there three times, but I willcertainly come again. My favourite place was Gelateria Il Piacere with extraordinary icecream flavours. Libreria Ubik was another place where I came by very often, at least once a day. I always went out with a bag of very interesting things, games for my son, souvenirs, books, and various present. I really would like to have one near the plece where I live in. I was also very suprised when I tried specialities in Istanbul City Kebap. Mamma mia :) The kebap I tried left me speachless. In the morning I liked to enjoy drinking famous italian capuccino and eating tramezzino (there are at least 10 different kind of this fantastic sandwich) at the caffe of the Miramonti hotel. Every Saturday there is an open market with various things you can buy (cheese, meat, fruit, vegetable, clothes, bags etc). If you want to go shopping I raccomend Conad. There are several supermarkets nearby (It's interesting you won't find them in the centre). My favourite transportation was train. Excellent fast trains will make you want to travel again and again. The people from Schio are very kind and they will always help you. Located in Veneto, Italy, this small city has a lot to offer. This is an idea place to visit. So many historic and archaeological sights will impress you. The World of Miniature Trains, Geomineralogical museum, Butterflies Museum "Nel Regno delle Farfalle Onlus", Fogazzaro Palace Civic Museum appart from Castello, Villa Pizzolato-Panciera, will tell you an incredible story. People are more than happy to see and talk to you. On Saturday you will be a part of the Schio's market where you will be able to buy at excellent prices. The location is a little out the way from public transport, so you may need the use of a car. Schio is only 15-20 minutes down the road and you can park the car free at the back of the train station.
