This was our favorite place to stay on our trip to the Dolomites. The location was quiet with stunning views. Our meals were delicious and ample. We took advantage of the spa and outdoor swimming pool. We had the opportunity to chat with the owner a couple of times and he was delightful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and hated to leave.

The property was spectacular!! The location was the best for anyone who likes convenience to the slopes and to great restaurants within walking distance. The staff, Mara, Roberta, and Daniela made everyday special and were so helpful giving us great recommendations for dining and skiing. We stayed 3 days in Cortina before arriving at Giardin and wished we had spent all 7 days at The Giardin B&B! The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had a lot to choose from. The downstairs sauna and fitness center was first class and the Ski Room was over the top! What could be better than to spend the day skiing The Sellaronda Ski Circuit and end your day right at the door to the Ski Room at The Giardin! It was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, the staff wonderful, and the location, ideal. You can’t ask for anything more. Would love to go back in the summer to hike and enjoy the hospitality of The Giardin Boutique Hotel B&B! All my best to everyone who made our trip memorable. Thank you!

The cleanliness is exceptional, and the hotel looks like it is brand new. It is very cozy, and the staff is extremely polite. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Nives ski lift is located 100 meters away, so we didn't have to drag our skis too far. Even though that particular slope is for children, it can take you to the Sellaronda, which is great. Breakfast was good. It had various types of oatmeal and cornflakes, bread, buns, and muffins, along with cheese, ham, and occasional prosciutto. Jam, cream, and sweets were also nice. Boiled or fried eggs were provided on request, and they were excellent. We had parking outside, but we were able to get a spot in the closed garage the day before we left so that the car was ready for the way home.

    The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites. Hotels and Apartments are plentiful and in every price level. You can choose from so many hikes (all different levels) you can fill 3 weeks. Depending what other locations are on your itinerary, 3 days allow you to see the highlights and get a sense of the beauty of the Dolomites. Yet, it's easy to fill a week. Summer like winter.

    While Selva absolutely lived up to everything we had heard...

    While Selva absolutely lived up to everything we had heard about how spectacular the Dolomites are, we unfortunately had no fresh snow. We'd made a very long trip from Australia to ski and snowboard, so it was disappointing. That said, we had decent cover and loved the long runs and apres venues. Completing the Sellaronda is one of the best experiences I've ever had on skis.

    if you are a beginner intermediate you could spend a week on the Sella Ronda - if you are advanced you would get bored after 3-4 days Nothing very challenging for the real adrenaline junkies Selva is a pretty town with lots of hotels and few chalets. Quiet in the evenings.

    Skiing in Dolomites is absolutely fantastic, because the nature is beautiful and you have a lot of different slopes and different lifts. Mountain huts are almost everywhere so no problem to find great spot for drinking or eating.

    The room and breakfast area were very clean. The room has blackout blinds that enabled us to sleep like babies. There was a heater to warm towels or dry clothes in the toilet. Great location and very walkable. There is a fabulous market around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay!

    The family and friendly atmosphere was perfect.

    The family and friendly atmosphere was perfect. The staff very much went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we need. Breakfast was incredible with many many options and healthy choices. Americans always like more coffee faster, but that would be my only recommendation. The sauna and steam room were excellent very clean and safe. Truly the owners were invested in making sure our stay was enjoyable. The definitely hit the mark.

    The location is perfect, Dantercepies and Ciampinoi cable cars are easily accessible, so you can ski from the hotel to both Orange and Green rounds of Sellaronda, and ski back down the Nives slope almost to the hotel door. My room was perfectly clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the view of the slope and the mountains from the balcony is amazing. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very homey and charming. And even a supermarket is in less than a 10-minutes walk, and a few nice restaurants along the way.

    Clean hotel/rooms, friendlyness of staff, interior of rooms (classic alp style), beautiful view from balcony, well maintained garden, garage is comfortable for bigger cars, continental breakfast. It is located more close to the ski lifts as opposed to the centre of the town, but actually we prefered that way.

    I travel a lot, but its a first place to give me something more than accomodation. This place gives you a great story about one of the greatest female skiing champion in Italy, which welcomes you on arrival. Hotel is on the end of the best slope in Dolomities - Seceda.

    Very nice hotel, with an excellent restaurant and (in theory) nice wellness. The shuttle bus of the hotel is easily accessible and the ski bus stops in front of the hotel. The view on the mountains (from the road side) is very nice.
