Tuelada is a small but charming town in the hills above several really wonderful beaches. There are a few good restaurants and a great corner cafe for drinks and snacks, a couple of grocery stores, pharmacy, Bakery and beach shop. Teulada and its surrounding mountains and coastline are as beautiful as any in Europe. The town itself is only slowly awakening to the requirements of the tourist, menus in the ristoranti are fairly basic although the tuna, swordfish, sea bass are fresh and fabulous. There is little difference in the various trattoria but friendliness shines through. The supermarkets hold most of the necessities of life and the takeaway G&T at €2.10 for 250ml is worth going back for. Take care at the filling stations the SELFseerve side of the pumps is 17cents a litre cheaper that the "Assistance" side where someone holds the pump! A quiet and peaceful place in the center of Teulada and at the same time at a strategic distance from all the beautiful beaches. Very clean and spacious apartment. Everything you need to prepare food is available. There is a large barbecue available in the yard. We were very satisfied with the hospitality of the hosts Maria and Paolo, who were very kind. The room was pretty, clean, and had its own private entrance, separate from the main house — which added extra privacy. Having parking inside the property was very convenient. The kettle, coffee machine, and fridge in the room were a lovely surprise and made the stay even more comfortable. The owner was very helpful and welcoming.
