Tirano is a really nice little town, busy with plenty of visitors, but also with plenty of locals out and about enjoying the restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we had time to explore the old town and wished we had a bit more time to visit more of the restaurants. Would advise travelling into Switzerland on the Bernina Express rather than the other way. Tirano seems like a place to move on from to be honest. A single night was OK, but not sure we'd have enjoyed staying much longer...Guest review byDavinUnited Kingdom

The location is very convenient as it is just a short walk from the train station while being close to the main road with access to restaurants and groceries. It is the perfect place to start, end or make part of your journey through this area.
