I think everyone should consider Treviso. It has so much to offer for a smaller city and can be used as an anchor to see many more things in the area. Venice is a 30 minute train ride. We instantly fell in love with this cozy little town.
We instantly fell in love with this cozy little town. Close to Venice yet so different, Treviso charmed us with its canals, picturesque streets, historic center, and the vibrant atmosphere created by its young population. It truly stole our hearts. Our room was clean and unexpectedly had a balcony with a table and chairs which made it a very pleasant spot to drink wine from (the staff was happy to provide wine glasses upon request).
