It was clean they thought of everything in the room the food was great and staff were friendly bed comfortable shower had pressure bathroom was beautiful, we only stayed one night as we were passing through no shops where the hotel was but the village was a close drive , it had a pool area it was simply lovely definitely recommend it

    This is not a busy tourist town.

    This is not a busy tourist town. It is a nice quiet place on a hill looking out over the surrounding countryside and lovely lake. The main square has a cafe / bar where you can enjoy an expresso and watch the world go by. Some really good restaurants like the Osteria dell'accademia and Ristorante vecchio mulino. Also for a great breakfast, Sandwich or Pizza try Bar Hannibal. Its a great local bar very friendly and reasonable. Also next to one of the supermarkets so you can stock up and have a relaxing lunch.

    The home was gorgeous with a perfect remodel of the inside. Views are fantastic and it’s very close to other historic cities. Definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a beautiful getaway.

    Everything was just absolutely amazing. On arrival to this beautiful secluded house, we were stunned by the views. The house has been sympathetically transformed. We had a lovely welcome gift of sunflowers, wine and biscuits. The owners are such gracious kind people and went above and beyond for us. The house is near to a fantastic supermarket. It is a good location for lots of places to visit. We will be back. We can't thank the owners enough.

    We attended a wedding at Villa Baroncino. This was a great base. Plenty of space. Could spread ourselves. Make lunch or brekkie if we wanted. Loved going to the Joker Bar for brekkie- absolute bargain. Worth walking up into town. Patrizio and Maria excellent- went above and beyond. So helpful. Everyone in the village was lovely. It isn’t luxurious. It isn’t a hotel. It’s a home. We loved it.
