This is not a busy tourist town.
This is not a busy tourist town. It is a nice quiet place on a hill looking out over the surrounding countryside and lovely lake. The main square has a cafe / bar where you can enjoy an expresso and watch the world go by. Some really good restaurants like the Osteria dell'accademia and Ristorante vecchio mulino. Also for a great breakfast, Sandwich or Pizza try Bar Hannibal. Its a great local bar very friendly and reasonable. On arrival to this beautiful secluded house, we were stunned by the views. The house has been sympathetically transformed. We had a lovely welcome gift of sunflowers, wine and biscuits. The owners are such gracious kind people and went above and beyond for us. The house is near to a fantastic supermarket. It is a good location for lots of places to visit. We will be back.
