We definitely chose the right place as our base for the 5...
We definitely chose the right place as our base for the 5 days. The train made it easy to visit the rest of the Ligurian Coast from Savona to Genova. We were able to rent bikes in Varazze and ride along the designated coastal path as well. Our only disappointment was that the path was under construction leaving Varazze toward Cogoleto. We also enjoyed a hike up to the Nostra Signora della Guardia church with stunning views of the coast below.Guest review byJaniceCanada - 10.0

The people, in general, were extremely helpful and accommodating. The beaches are with pebbles but very clean, well organized and price-accessible. The food all over Varazze is amazing, from seafood to pizza and ice cream. The prices are "normal" touristic prices (e.g. from a 8-10 euros for a pizza to a 16-18-20 for a seafood dish). Varraze is a nice little town with all amenities you could wish for and the air of a sweet Italian beach town. It is thankfully not as overrun like other beach towns in the “flower riviera” which for me made it super enjoyable. The beach is long, clean, well-kept and gorgeous. The people are super nice. You can get pretty much anything and if you booked a place with no board, breakfast or half-board can easily find great food for any meal. I was amazed how well the town kept their own spirit and feel even though it is a tourist destination. I can highly recommend visiting here!Guest review byavlbambi753Italy

Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is there. Full-coverage window blinds combined with advanced air conditioning in both rooms make it easy to achieve a comfortable indoor temperature. The balcony has shade in the morning and later in the evening. The host Giulia was a pure joy to deal with. Clear communication and very helpful when we needed it. We appreciated especially washing machine and dish washer. The house is located above Varazze so far from the noise and there is a beautiful view. A road there is quite steep and narrow but after second ride you have a practice. Even with the minivan. The hosts, Martina and Antonio, are supernice and very helpful.
