Where to start! This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

We loved this hotel. It was comfortable and stylish and very close to Gion. The bus stop and metro were just around the corner. There were several restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable! The restaurant seemed really nice too, although we didn’t try it.

They allowed us for an early check in as soon as the room was ready. Other hotels in Japan usually charge an early check in fee. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a Christmas treat and I find that really thoughtful.
