We were lucky enough to spent a wonderful time with our host, who speaks english very well. She was very friendly and had enough time for us to show us all the amenities and our wonderful room. Use your time to look at her art and what she sells of it, she is very talented, we've got wonderful pieces that will always remind us of our time there. Daisuke and his staff are very friendly and helpful. As walking Henro, with only basic Japanese, we particularly appreciated their assistance finding our next accommodation. The Sake tasting sets are great, as is the local Uchiko beer and the prepared dinners scrumptious. The guest house is located in an ideal location for exploring the fabulous old Uchiko houses, in short, thoroughly recommended.
