It’s a small rural town but has all services you need.
It’s a small rural town but has all services you need. Multiple supermarkets and 100Yen shops, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, it is almost essential to have your own transport but it’s on a train line with a station. There are numerous ski slopes on the surrounding hills and I guess the main tourist season for the town is in winter/ snow time. We visited late May when all rice fields were planted and surrounding the town with reflecting pools of water.Guest review byBerndGermany - 10.0
I was originally staying for two days but I was lucky that...
I was originally staying for two days but I was lucky that there was space for me to stay an extra night. It meant I could travel to Aizu Wakamatsu and Nanukamachi on one day and then cycle half way around the lake on the next day. Then the arrival day i went up to Goshikinuma ponds and walked the nature trail (stunning) and I just chilled at the lovely guest house after lots of travelling! Inawashiro is very quiet but lovely scenery with a great beach by the lake. You do need a car or bike to get to it though.Guest review byElinUnited Kingdom
