Beautiful Japanese house in the cozy neighbourhood area. We loved it so so much! The owner 小林 is superb kind & friendly! i miss my last train and ended up in Kofu. i booked a room online around 11:00 pm and my train was to arrive at the destination at 0:35… A staff member kindly called me to ensure that the front desk is open 24 hours so i don’t have to worry. Very kind!

it is kinda of unique that's why we picked this place. it was nice for a night. when we checked in we could get free hot beverages and pick a frozen meal of our choice from the selection they had. it's well insulated, very clean, has all the minimum necessary and the bed was comfortable.

    Isawa Onsen is an onsen resort town adjacent to the city of Kofu in Yamanashi. It is home to a variety of onsen hotels and stand-alone spas, all with attached restaurants. In addition to the onsen based restaurants, Isawa has a range of restaurants and dining venues for all budgets. It is also home to a number of houto restaurants. Houto is a specialty of Yamanashi Prefecture and is a thick miso broth with meat vegetables and thick houto noodles. Additionally, there are plenty of convenience stores and super markets as well as a range of specialty shops on the main street of the town. Isawa Onsen Station on the JR Chuo Line allows you to travel to Kofu and Shinjuku. The town is suited for foot or bicycle. As this is Yamanashi, car travel is also possible with many shops and venues having parking.
