The onsen is really good. The views are nice from the room, and they gave us a 2000 yens voucher (we didn't have breakfast included) which we used for the shop. When they came to install the futons, it wasn't the right time for us, so I asked them to not do it now. When it was the right time, I went to reception to ask for it, I think the women who normally do it had finished their shift but two men from the reception came to the room and installed the 4 futons (you had to add the sheets.on the pillows and the blankets too). I didn't realise this wasn't their job until it was too late but I was very thankful they did it especially as the room was small for 4 futons and the tables and it required some tetris skills.

Beautiful setting and not far from Shinkansen station. Great escape from city life with the onsen and swimming pool. Lovely, friendly staff, while communication in English was challenging, with translation apps everything worked out. Breakfast was Japanese, which catered great to my taste and upon request, there is also a children breakfast set, that is more continental.

I think this might be the best place I've stayed in Japan. Log burning fire, hosts that bend over backwards to welcome you and they picked me up and dropped me off from Oja station. Brilliant pre stay communication. Excellent facilities.

Everything was wonderful! The staff was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and even made me as a European long for more Japanese breakfast. It's the little things, that make this hotel so special. I had a great time, thank you!

Beautiful apartment, with a lovely garden view. On the edge of the city centre, which was ideal for us. Supermarket, laundrymat close by. We were warned about possible noise from the restaurant, but the room was quiet.
