Own comfortable private floor upstairs. Included: dining room with a mini fridge, toilet and bedroom with two single beds and an AC. Beds were hardish in a very good way, felt well rested in the morning. Shared bathroom and kitchen downstairs. Everything was perfectly clean and working as they should. Hosts were exceptionally caring. We missed our train station and they came and picked us up from 4km away with their car without us asking. Nice couple, showed us the apartment and gave us clear instructions on everything. Pro tip if you are walking to Koyasan from Jison-In: ask the hosts to order you a taxi beforehand for the morning. Trip from this accommodation to Jison-in was less than 10mins with a taxi and cost us 1600 yen.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was really welcoming the onsens are great and for private use. The food was amazing. The room had all the possible comfort you can imagine. This stay was not cheap but worth the money.

Oh my! The absolute best hotel we stayed at. The ryokan was absolute. Outside foot bath. Hot stone rest room. Onsen in and out real onsen (people go there more for that). The dinner was a poetry. All music to my ears. Absolute amazing place.

This was the most outstanding place we stayed at in Japan. The owner met us at the train station at the beginning of our 2 night stay and took care of us the entire time. He drove us to restaurants, supermarkets. The next day he picked us up and took us on a tour of all the shrines on the nearby mountain. He was informative, and catered to all our wishes with a great sense of humor and kind spirit. The whole experience was what we wanted from Japan,

It was very special to sleep at a station. It was very easy to self check-in. Also the communication was very good and they were super friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

- Beautifully decorated room - Very comfortable bedding - Really friendly and helpful staff - Great facilities and amenities. There is a kitchen for guests, and the lobby also doubles as a cafe. The hotel is very well located — just a 2-minute walk from Hashimoto Station. It’s an ideal base for visiting Koya-san, and only about 20 minutes by train to Kudoyama for those planning to hike the Choishi-michi route. There is also a Family Mart in front of the hotel and a very delicious bakery next door. The room was very clean, and I slept incredibly well. The hotel is run by a lovely couple who kindly let me check in early when I arrived to drop off my luggage, as the room was already ready. As a bit of a coffee lover, I also appreciated the nice coffee cup provided — it made my coffee time in the room even more enjoyable. Thank you so much! Next time I want to test the breakfast :)
