A very cosy place to stay like a local. Exceptionally clean and well maintained, a well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook with close walk to the local supermarket and butcher. We stayed in winter and the house kept very warm.

The hostess is really really nice😊 She picked us up at the railway station and drove us to the residence. The house is very big and comfortable. And there’s lots of games to play, such as dart and Super Mario!

Love everything! The house feels so luxurious with even things we didnt expect being provided. All facilities are working well. Clean and comfortable. The host gave us delicious Hokkaido special biscuits and kiddie snacks for our kid, which was so thoughtful. I also enjoyed extra amenities such as the complete set of high quality shampoos and hair treatments, moisturizers and cleansing oils, towels, delicious instant hot chocolates and coffees. Much more luxurious amenities and interior furnitures are super super awesome. Even got free Netflix.

We had such a fantastic stay here! It was our first time staying in a traditional house and it felt very special. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Check in was super easy too. Location is a little walk out of town but we didnt mind! We wish we could have stayed longer.

For a two day trip to Noboribetsu, we enjoyed the hiking, scenery, and shopping near our hotel. The natural hot springs there are also quite unique - semi translucent in appearance. We really enjoyed soaking in it.

Restaurants outside hotels are limited, so opt in for meals at hotel if possible. The hikes were wonderful. 2 hour hike and you can see it all. Go early to avoid the visitor crush. Only need one day to enjoy the hot springs and get a hike in of Noboribetsu. Glad we made the trip!

Definitely book a traditional Japanese room with floor futons. Much more comfy than the modern beds. Garden view is lovely. Onsen is one of the best I’ve experienced. So many options. Incredible staff. Breakfast was delicious!

Definitely recommended to have a car.

Definitely recommended to have a car. Explore Noboribetsu Onsen, Hell Valley. Day or Half-Day trips to Lake Kuttara, Lake Toya (and Toyako Onsen) are highly recommended. Spend a day trip driving to Hell Valley, and then to Muroran. 2-3 days is sufficient. If travelling by bus or train, make sure to get the schedule beforehand. While Noboribetsu is walkable, the other areas might not be so convenient without a car.

'Wow' is all I can say.

'Wow' is all I can say. Plus it was snowing on that day when we were at Jigokudani, so it was a great feeling. The Onsen in Daiichi is a MUST to try especially the outdoor Onsen is a unforgettable experienced.

Onsen was fantastic at Noboribetsu Manseikaku.

Onsen was fantastic at Noboribetsu Manseikaku. The Bear park is well worth the trip. The view from the mountain is spectacular. Being winter unfortunately some of the walking tracks were closed. Very nice little own, the main thing is to onsen!

The Grand Bath onsen is marvellous.... out of this world. Very difficult to leave the place once you try the onsen. The rooms are Japanese traditional room, very lovely, well taken care of and we love every single part of it. We will definitely return here should we ever decide go back to Noboribetsu in the future.

Super stylish, clean, well located to explore the region. It has its own little onsen which works, or else you can go to the onsen at the hotel opposite the street, for free. Amazing bakery at the ground floor.
