I had a wonderful time at Ololo Family Guesthouse. It is an ideal place for a family holiday to enjoy nature and comfort. The guesthouse offers a wide range of services, including clean and comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and access to the beach. Children can play in a safe area, and adults can relax by the water. Not sure why the rating on this is so high. It's called hotel but it's more like a hostel. We had to put the bedding sheets on ourselves. There was a big orange stain on the sheets and on the carpet. The bathroom mirror had a dried white substance on it. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was ok. I guess you get what you pay for. However, I wouldn't stay again.

Amazing stay at Olga’s. The family was very welcoming and I highly recommend their homemade wine. The facilities were clean and comfortable, the rooms and bedding nice and warm. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the lake and many cafes and stores are close by. You can also walk to the petroglyphs.

This cute little cottage is located in such a great spot within walking distance of some fabulous beaches and a stones throw away from an amazing thermal hot springs. It is fully equipped with everything you need and has been finished with absolute care and consideration for the guests. We absolutely loved our stay here. And the hosts were super welcoming and helpful. The site is still being developed and landscaped so the outside space is not finished, but I'm sure when it is finally finished it will be so fantastic!

Alimbek and his wife were amazing hosts! We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at their guesthouse. They have a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden, and were kind enough to give us fresh cucumbers, apricots and raspberries that were delicious! The room and bathroom was clean and spacious, and the location is a short walk to the Main Street. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Cholpon Ata, or just for one night as a stopover through Issyk Kul.

The house we stayed at was very nice. It has ample room and it’s very clean, comfortable and quiet. It was in gated community, the area has 2 restaurants and beach access. Since it was a business trip, it's very difficult to find a hotel in the area - I think this is a good alternative.
