The Koslai and the Shymbulak Ski Resort were my favorite places to go, so relaxing staying in those places! Almaty is a very modern city. Coming from Europe, not knowing much about the Stan-states, I got surprised so modern it was. Lots of green parks, nice pedestrian walks, some nice museums, hips of restaurants. Nice trip up the cable car to enjoy the view over Almaty from the amusement park. A hidden gem in Central Asia! As an Indian traveler, I highly recommend this destination to fellow Indians. It offers stunning natural beauty and modern amenities—comparable to many European countries—but at a fraction of the cost. You'll find a wide variety of delicious food at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of well-organized tours to explore different attractions, many of which are available through platforms like GetYourGuide. You can easily choose one that fits your schedule and budget. I spent a wonderful seven days here, and I’m truly glad I made the trip. Almaty is a very beautiful city. There are lots of parks and I was really surprised by the amount of greenery this city has. The folks here are very laid back and helpful.
