    Almaty is a very modern city.

    Almaty is a very modern city. Coming from Europe, not knowing much about the Stan-states, I got surprised so modern it was. Lots of green parks, nice pedestrian walks, some nice museums, hips of restaurants. Nice trip up the cable car to enjoy the view over Almaty from the amusement park. Instead of taking the, expensive, cable car, you can get up there by a cheaper bus. You can easily spend 2 days in Almaty.

    Almaty I would say a nice city to visit surrounded with beautiful mountains, with mix culture and diverse restaurants. Its very modern and mix of East/WEST and Asia in one place. Definitely will come back in the winter to ski in Shymbulak ski resort.

    A hidden gem in Central Asia!

    A hidden gem in Central Asia! As an Indian traveler, I highly recommend this destination to fellow Indians. It offers stunning natural beauty and modern amenities—comparable to many European countries—but at a fraction of the cost. You'll find a wide variety of delicious food at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of well-organized tours to explore different attractions, many of which are available through platforms like GetYourGuide. You can easily choose one that fits your schedule and budget. I spent a wonderful seven days here, and I’m truly glad I made the trip. It was a memorable and rewarding experience.

    Almaty is a very beautiful city.

    Almaty is a very beautiful city. There are lots of parks and I was really surprised by the amount of greenery this city has. The folks here are very laid back and helpful. The green bazaar is a must visit as well as the shimbulak mountain resort. Overall I had a wonderful time in Almaty.

    After my 3 trips to Almaty this hotel turned to be the best of all. It's indeed top notch, comparable to nice chain hotels in the USA. They have very polite wonderful classy looking personnel, tending to your needs, super clean, freshly remodeled and nicely furnished rooms, a really delicious breakfast with a lot of varieties and the prettiest ever lobby and breakfast room. I absolutely enjoyed my stay there!

    The apartment was well equipped with all the basics you need for a peaceful stay, you name it, and it will be there. The management is very professional and supported all the time for any required assistance. They were also flexible and accommodating, which is required and possible in their capacity.     If you’re spending a couple of days in Almaty, don’t go to the hotels near the center (Arasan spa). We’ve stayied there and it was not a good experience. After 2 nights, we’ve moved to Grand Park Inn and it was the best choice. The rooms are large, at a 4* hotel standards and the breakfast delicious.
