We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me as a solo traveller They even lent me a torch for climbing up Sri Pada at night and even prepared snacks for the journey. The whole family chipped on helping at different points, so friendly and respectful. The food was delicious and a swim in the cool pool after the overnight hike was simply delightful. Loved it!

If you are looking for good hospitality than subas is the guy . He will treat you as your family and make you feel comfortable with everything you need . He had his own tuktuk so pickup and dropup to Adam peak trek point will be no issue from the hotel. Food preparation also good , overall an good experience.

    Besides doing the incredibly beautiful hike to Adams Peak, you can hire a tuktuk driver to guide you to Morey's Waterfall. the best waterfall we got to hike to in Sri lanka, challenging 1 hour hike but you'll get to stroll thru lush tea plantations and walk along side Lake Morey.

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be...

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be able to reach the top. It was over-crowded and the path is narrow the last 500 meters. Got stuck in one spot for 45 minutes and decided to turn around. Still got amazing views though and the experience of local pilgrimage which was a privilege!

    This location is very traditional and historic for Buddhists. People from all around the world visit this place, making it an excellent place to relax in today's stressful life. You can witness stunning sunrises and see many beautiful waterfalls in the surrounding area.

    At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you...

    At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

    Only stayed one night to do an overnight climb of Adams peak Check in at 1pm was perfect - room was ready and clean Immediately upgraded room on arrival for no extra fee Food served was reasonable price and tasty Pool had a good view and easy to access Room clean and fresh towels given

    There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby.

    There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby. However you cannot visit either of them. You can only drive around and take in the views. What is quite nice is to climb up the Adams' Peak. The climb is good for those who like climbing and hiking.

    Daddy's Guest Home is an absolute gem! The charming family that runs this place makes you feel truly at home with their warm hospitality. The rooms are fantastic - well-equipped and comfortable.     I can not with words describe what a WONDERFUL place Queens Ark is. The owner and all the staff, friendliest people you will ever meet. Food was the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka. Not only is the place super cheap an clean but also the rooms are big, with warm shower water, cozy blankets, big beds and great balcony view. I will come back just for this place!
