This boutique hotel has an amazing history, it used to be a private residence 100 years ago. Most of the flooring tiles are original, the place has been beautifully restored, the rooms are incredible and very cozy, their beds are comfortable. I don't want to give away the story behind the beauty of this building but do stay there and ask them for a little tour around. It's absolutely fantastic.

Lovely serene grounds with some very new individuals villas - some with a pool and some without. Super clean, nice staff and great location if you drive your own Tuktuk or are happy to book one for transport to Pinnawala (10 mins drive away).

The rooms are super comfy and clean. The rooftop with the pool is great for having a break and relax. The food was amazing and the staff really nice and helpful.

Beautiful villa next to river, quiet and peaceful with amazing staff. The pool was delicious and so was the breakfast and dinner we had. Highly recommend this place, a bit of luxury at a reasonable cost.

Pool, spacious room, comfy bed, hot water, very peaceful, unexpected free snack on departure, helpful staff. They walked me down to a nice cheap restaurant close by to was lovely.☺️

Very good instalations. All the staff was helpful and nice. Amazing to see the elefants taking bath a few feet from us. They did us an upgrade, and we stayed in a room with balcony to the river.

very good view of the elephants from the balcony! very clean, spacious rooms and big beds. rooms had aircon and fans and big clean bathrooms with good pressure, hot showers! I definitely recommend this place if you want to see the elephants. the staff were very kind and helpful!
