Terrace Cinnamon View is an exceptional place with incredible views over the hill country from every room and balcony. Even at night we would leave the curtains open so that in the morning we could see the gentle, rolling landscape from our bed - a luxury! The place is perfectly clean and decorated with taste and has a pretty pool. Rumesh and his team are lovely people - friendly, efficient and attentive to your every need. The meals taken on the large terrasse overlooking the mountain are delicious. Peaceful and quiet, this is the perfect place to unwind and contemplate nature.

The facility is one thing but the staff, the complimentary aspects, the care and attention of everyone was fantastic. From the manager, to the driver, the restaurant staff, the chefs, everybody is kind, patient, hospitable and knowledgeable about the surroundings. It is a wonderful mix of comfortable stay with facilities and immersion into nature. The one hour massage, the yoga session, the tour in the village with the local guide were all extra perks that we enjoyed thoroughly. We even asked for traditional coconut pancakes for breakfast and the chefs prepared a delicious meal every time. They shared local snippets with us about the flora, fauna and culture of the region, we visited the temple and the rice fields, the school. The manager and the staff were always attentive with our needs and questions, they drove us and picked us up from the locations. We cannot recommend the place enough, truly! It's been the highlight of our three-week Sri Lanka trip so far. It is not just an accommodation, it's a story in itself 🙏♥️

Beautifully situated, among the jungle and a garden embedded in it. We arrived quite late, but despite this they waited for us and offered us dinner! The caretaker of the facility is a very nice gentleman who cares a lot about the well-being of his guests. The guesthouse is decorated in a uniform style that matches the surroundings. Every detail is thought out. The rooms are spotlessly clean, always with a view of the jungle (some, like ours, also have a balcony). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast - fruit and a chosen form of egg. It was a sufficient portion for us. In addition, coffee / tea / juice. It was wonderful for us to wake up in such surroundings and start the day like this. Although the monkeys jumped on the roof of our building, it was an additional attraction for us. I would like to visit such places more often. Hidden gems with excellent service.

The location was peaceful and serene, providing the perfect escape. The staff were exceptionally attentive, with impeccable attention to detail. The meals served during our stay were absolutely delicious and carried a nostalgic, home-cooked charm. A special highlight was the morning visit to Pahanthudawa Waterfall, thoughtfully arranged by the team, which made our experience even more memorable. We loved this place and found it completely by accident - I am so glad we did! Beautiful scenic views and very delicious food. Dulara Silva was the loveliest man and made our stay so fun. Organised loads of activists for us (trekking, kayaking, zip lining and waterfalls) He made sure we were always smiling. All the staff were incredible- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
