The hotel was fantastic - amazing facilities and lovely staff. It was the perfect location to explore some of the area too - so nice to be near a supermarket and other food places whilst also being in a quiet area down by the river. We got to see a crocodile by the river from the hotel garden!! The pool was great - made for a very relaxing fun place to come back to. The gym had good facilities and it was nice that there were outside weights. Great breakfast too. The staff brought us mango lassi and beer to our room one evening too. Room was super comfortable - great shower and ac.

Wow, what a find Art Yala boutique resort is. If you want a a break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life this is the place to come.It’s hard to explain how beautiful and tranquil the view is from this fabulous resorts garden looking across the lake to the distant Buddhist temple, perfect for morning yoga. Madu the resort owner and his wonderful staff Nisal, Mahesh, Sampath and the outstanding Chef Indika looked after us like family. The fruit and tasty cooked food for dinner is all local produce. The rooms are very modern and spacious with all mod cons required. For a trip to the National Reserve Safari park. Madu can arrange everything for a full day or half day safari. If you’re lucky,like we were you may get to see a Leopard or two along with the many other wild animals. Thanks Madu 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the wonderful stay Kind regards Pete & Di

Excellent, exceptional care, near beautiful lake, where you can watch the birds, owner is very helpful, they also cook there. Short walk to town, small shop on the corner. Internet working well. They book you Safari tour so you do not have to worry about anything. Nice open space common area.

I can’t recommend it more 😊 Nalin will do everything to make your stay better He is always trying to add more value to your stay offering new activities, recommendations and experiences He arranged a dinner in the jungle where I could cook rotti with the locals and even spot some crocodiles and elephants!! Everything was outstanding! The pool and the huge garden are perect for relaxing after a day of safari. The team also arranged a safari for us which was really cool for a fair price. One of the best accomodation excperiences we’ve ever had. It was so much more than just a place to stay. From the moment we met our hosts we were made to feel like part of the family. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and their hospitality never ceased to amaze. As if a beautifully maintained, quiet, calm and meticulously clean property in addition to some amazing food were not enough, the host showed us places we would never have found on our own. Its speaks for itself that the safary in Yala National Park was not even half as interesting as the late night tour our host gave us in his village. The highlight of our stay was the Vesak celebration witch we would never have seen without our host. Thank you so much! May you be blessed!

We loved this place! Wonderful homestay overlooking the lake. The owner has created a very comfortable room- lovely 4 poster bed with comfy mattresses and pillows, a huge dressing mirror, hairdryer, desk and chair and a stand to hang clothes, AC and TV. The rooms share a wrap around balcony and a nice terrace to have your meals. Gemunu and his wife made us a lovely dinner - hoppers and fish curry was delicious. The buffalo yoghurt with treacle is a must. We booked a half day safari through them. Chamara was a good guide and we even managed to see a leopard. Though we stayed only a night we loved it and hope to stay here again. Gemunu was really helpful in getting our laundry done for us - washed and folded. It was really appreciated. A fantastic base for your safari.

We stayed in the place for one night a had chosen it because of Yala safari. We contacted the owner via booking chat in advance and he arranged us a private jeep safari to Yala national park. We were picked from the place at 4:30 and were back at noon. And that was really enough, as the the best time to see wild animals is very in the morning. The Yalla park opens at 6 a.m. and the jeeps have to stand in queue before entrance, so it is important to be at the entrance little bit early - we were there at 5:20 - so that to enter the park with the firs visitors. That is important, because jeeps go to specific places where leopards and elephants live and then again stand in queue so that to see animals. Therefore the time spend in the queues depends on the experience of the driver and our driver was really very good. We saw leopards, elephants, wild pigs, bulls, peacocks, crocodiles and more wild nature. We ordered a room with terrace without breakfast as the breakfast was included in safari price and we had a breakfast on the ocean beach in Yala. The room we booked was clean and comfortable. We had some time after we checked in in the afternoon, so we went to Kirinda to the beach, as we traveled by tuk tuk on ourselves. We had a beautiful sunset on the terrace of our room. And the owner offered to prepare us a dinner - we even could choose dishes from wide menu with listed prices - that was pleasantly surprising, as this is the place where the owners family lives and they offer only couple rooms to rent. Overall the Willage Mango Resort Yala met all our expectations so we definitely recommend the place to stay, especially if you plan to have Yala safari.
