I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sky Lodge in Kandy, Sri Lanka and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the surrounding hills. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern and elegant aesthetic. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, a sleek bathroom, and all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the large windows in my room, which allowed for plenty of natural light and provided a breathtaking view of the landscape. The staff at the Sky Lodge truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were always courteous, attentive, and ready to assist with any request or query I had. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing recommendations for local attractions, or simply ensuring that I had everything I needed, their level of service was exceptional. One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant, which offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills. The food served here is a delightful fusion of local and international cuisines, prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan dishes, which were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The location of the hotel is also a major plus. Just a short walk from the bustling streets of Kandy, it offers a peaceful and tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. It is also conveniently located near many popular attractions, such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Overall, I cannot recommend the Sky Lodge enough. From its stunning design, comfortable rooms, and top-notch service, to its delicious food and prime location, it truly exceeded my expectations. Whether you're visiting Kandy for business or pleasure, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

This is not just a place to stay — it’s a genuine experience, deeply connected to nature and to the heartfelt hospitality of Sri Lanka. The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. A special thank you goes to the wonderful people who made our stay so memorable: • Dilshad Farook, the naturalist, who passionately guided us through the area’s rich biodiversity, turning every walk into a small adventure. • Malindu, the manager, always present, professional, and attentive to every need. • Dharma Sri, Sandeepa, Asanga, Marlon, always present, attentive, ready to assist us with warmth and discretion. • Ravindra, the chef, who delighted us daily with delicious, authentic dishes prepared with great skill. • Mahanama, our driver, kind, reliable, and always with a smile, making every journey safe and pleasant. We had an unforgettable experience at Blue Waters Edge Kandy. The view of the river was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with luxury touches—plus the AC worked perfectly, which was a big plus. The food was so delicious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended

We were upgraded to a small apartment for the same price. Quiet. A short walk into town and closer to tea plantations. Owner was very friendly and wanting to attract more foreign tourists to Pussallawa.

Excellent location Need road leading to the htl be renovated. Breakfast can be improved including table arrangements and background soft music to add serene values. Food was so good and tasty Staff were superb and much caring and friendly with professional approach. Nice and wonderful place to be.

The views and the building itself are stunning, a real wow factor! The pool is over the track and down some steps, it’s breathtaking turning the corner and seeing that view. The food was great, and the service also amazing. The property is 16km from the centre of Kandy- this was perfect for us as we were looking for quiet and relax. It would be easy for the hotel to assist in a car or tuk tuk for you. The house is high, the drive is beautiful. Our driver made it in our minivan but I was a little nervous… it’s not an easy road. But nothing that’s unusual for Sri Lanka to be honest!The hotel does have a tuk tuk and they can assist with collecting you from the bottom of the hill so you will be able to reach it. It was just a bit of a shock for us as we hadn’t realised how high up it was. Totally worth it though! Thank you so much your amazing hospitality I’m so glad we found The Grove.

AMAZING STAY. Janaka and his wife are adorable and so hospitable. The place was very peaceful and the views are incredible. Janaka’s wife’s cooking was also nothing short of amazing! Would highly recommend and plan to come back one day in the future!
