We enjoyed the warm welcome and very friendly service during out 7 days stay. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding regarding quality and taste, varity of all dishes. So friendly and professional staffs made our stay perfect and wonderful! They first asked me if any special event for this trip and they prepared nice decorations each day for different occasions during our stay. Our family had a wonderful memories for this nice service. Their prepared interlocking rooms made our stay more comfortable. We specially appreciate to a very friendly staff named Tharindi for organizing everything so perfect for us. We had a fantastic stay. We arrived and were warmly welcomed. Our room was ready and it looked great. We had a room with sea view. We were immediately offered a beer on arrival and in the evening the host prepared fresh fish, shrimps, chips and rice for us. One of the best dishes we've had in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is located directly at sea, so you have a lot of peace here. The host is very helpful and will make your stay comfortable.

Breakfast was exceptional and included, the evening meal was outstanding, order your drinks so they have them in, our preference is bottled Lion beer and ginger beer shandy, refreshing in the heat I read other peoples reviews and I had to include this homestay in our trip, Hungama doesn't attract the usual tourist but it was quite convenient to Yala and easy to access Bundala national parks. Our host, Sagara, took an hour out of his day to walk with us which was interesting and informative..

The place is so peaceful. The garden leads straight to the beach, with fishermen working in the mornings, no tourists at all. Our room was clean, but the best part was the view from the bed , straight onto the sea The owner is very careful and welcoming, prepared breakfast early, as we liked, also gave us advice and helped us organising safari tour in Yala Scooter rental on point too
