Beautiful boutique hotel close to the airport (but you’d never know). They had a fairly extensive menu considering this is not a big property and it was delicious. The staff were exceptional and we loved our stay of three nights here. They had complimentary afternoon tea and drinks every afternoon which was a fabulous touch, which you took on the veranda. The kids played croquet on the lawn while we’d have a G&T and then return for a board game with us. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made my stay special. I'm honored to be the very first customer in this amazing room. very nice place in crowdy Colombo. We were even able to use the pool in late evening. Nice rooms with good equipment. They even have a fitness studio. We had a great time here before our flight.

We arrived in Sri Lanka very early in the morning (around 2 am), and although there was some confusion with our booking—likely due to booking.com not notifying the hotel about our late-night arrival—the staff handled the situation with exceptional kindness. The team who received us were incredibly understanding and made us feel safe and welcome despite the hour. They quickly arranged a room for us and ensured we were comfortable. Their hospitality really stood out and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. We truly appreciated their accommodating and friendly approach.

Cannot recommend enough! Randoni Villa is super well located, just 15 min to airport. It’s a great spot, right next to the river, surrounding by lush trees and flowers with a great pool. The place is well looked after, rooms very clean, and the hosts are wonderful people- super welcoming, providing little details that make you feel really taken care of. The owner gave us lots of useful tips, and took care of us, while his wife and daughters served amazing home cooked meals.
