The location is very close to the National Park. It is only about 8 minutes by Tuk-Tuk which they kindly organised for both our safaris. Leopard Inn arranged our tour of Wilpattu National Park at a reasonable price and our onward transport. Prathap could not have been more attentive even giving us cushions for our comfort on our safari. Everything was clean, comfortable and worked as it should. The accommodations that we chose were self contained cabins beside a river. Opposite there is some building work at the moment but it did not disturb our peace. We had a take away breakfast which was adequate. The pools are tiny plunge pools and very refreshing after a day's safari

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taru Villas Villu Wilpattu, and I must say that the hospitality provided by the team was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. The team’s attention to our needs, combined with their warm and friendly nature, truly made our time at Taru Villas unforgettable. The accommodation was not only beautiful and serene but also impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of Taru Villas. We were are very lucky to choose Koddu. It’s absolutely new hotel in a very beautiful and quiet place. We were very first guests there. It’s really 5 star service!!! All staff was full of hospitality!!! Managers - Mr. Bhathiya , Anuradha. Waiters- Suranga and Tarushi!!! Thank you guys!!! Chief Mahinde and his cuisine was absolutely amazing!!! Hotel situated near to Duotone kite station. It’s very comfortable if you do kiting like we are. I’ll definitely will come back!!!

Great team - special thanks to Mr. Kuma and Mr. Kumara for making our stay unforgettable! We felt very comfortable and taken care of. Very kind and helpful Mr. Kuma told us about Wilpattu, took us on a trip to show us elephants, helped us organize really great safari in National Park and our trip back to Negombo. It was one of a kind experience :) In this place you can really relax, de-stress and be close to nature. I can highly recommend this place as a fantastic mix of great people and beautiful nature.

Nice little place nestled by the lagoon, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Really enjoyed the communal table, food was fresh and delicious. Homemade ginger beer was refreshing after a hot day. Host and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The property is ideally located just a few minutes away from the Wilpattu Park.. The amount of ground this property covers gives you ample space for kids to enjoy themselves as well. The staff were a great and made us feel at home. The rooms were kept clean and comfortable. Thank you to the Kay Jay Wild and the staff there for making our stay a special one. We will be back!

The Backwaters lodge has everything that a naturelover is looking for. We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

Wild wadi is the place if your up for a wild get away. Surrounded by the beauty of wildlife and nature wild wadi has alot to offer. At our stay we were able to travel all the way to thambapanni via safari and breakfast in the jungle. Towards the evening kayaking in the lagoons and later endless boat rides over the lagoon followed by delicious seafood bbq for dinner. My family was able to relax and have an awesome time at our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again.
