The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

The hotel has an amazing pool surrounded by nature and a very good view of the Lake. We had two times the dinner and breakfast, which was very tasty. The staff was also very friendly and did a good job. The best thing at our visit was the „monkey menace“ in the evening and in the morning. You should find out by yourself:)

Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. He tooked care of us and for everything that we needed, giving us recommendations, sharing with us delicious meals, inspiring conversations and moments that will remain with us forever. For my job I visit many hotels, but this place, really, it is an absolutely gem! Amazing vibes! The room is huge, the bed as well, bathroom everything is spacious and large AND comfortabel! Best shower, nice balcony, beautiful garden! The owner is very friendly. Breakfast was huge and delicious! The pictures don't do justice to the place! Stay there and you will feel in heaven!

Modern hotel with a great view or the lake from the room. The room was big, very clean, modern and had all the facilities you need. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and treated us well. The dinner and the Sri Lankan breakfast was great.

    This is a far better place to stay due to the quality of the resort than in Polonnaruwa. A guest could stay here for many days as the ground are huge and relaxing. Pool and spa are kept spotless by a dedicated person that has been doing ot proudly for over 21 years.

    location is wonderful by lake - plenty of places to sit around pool and in beautiful garden leading to lake views and on terrace by restaurant (choice of sun or shade everywhere) - staff super helpful and friendly especially pool attendant and restaurant manager - great for us, but sad for hotel, we were one of only two couples on second night in this 80 room hotel - bungalow room was very elegant with delightful open air bathroom (although nowhere to sit outside) - this would be a great time to visit!!!!!!

    This is a sanctuary stay in a rural place. It was easy to find with a bus from the cross roads stop in Habarana, on any bus going to polonnaruwa, getting off at Giritale, 2nd stop then walking a short distance along a canal road. Nilu and family are very welcoming. Breakfast included is delicious. Wonderful meals are available.

    Location was great - the views from the front deck/jacuzzi were stunning looking over the lake. The hotel and the rooms were very pretty, and you felt like you were in the jungle (very peaceful and relaxing being in nature!) We also loved the outdoor rain shower and bath.

    Colonial feel hotel ...lots of local wildlife birds and macaques! Like a tropical oasis. Was very quiet when we were there so bonus👍🏼Staff very kind and helpful. Tuk Tuk to Polonnaruwa Dont hesitate its great
