⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The service was the best we have ever experienced in any hotel, the food was exceptional, and the rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. Our guided walk to the waterfall was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every detail was flawless—this is why it’s a perfect 10 from us.

The room was neat and bathroom clean enough. The caretaker Pereira was extremely helpful. There is no breakfast or food service, plates and cutlery are available. The family room was spacious, a double bed in 1 room and a single bed in the other smaller portion. Quiet and good for sleep.

A wonderful place to stay to visit Pallekelle Stadium and Trinity Rugby grounds. If visiting Kandy ideal quiet place away from the Hustle and bustle of Kandy town. Kandy city is about 30 minutes away by Bus or car. It is a very clean quiet place with very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Excellent value for the Room rates charged. Food was Reasonably priced and very tasty. We ordered Sri Lankan Lunch and Dinner. Bytes for snacks was excellent. Very well made Sri Lankan Tea. Towels and Soap were provided. Beautiful view of the Kandy Hantane Mountains Range. The place is located 100 Meters from the Kandy to Mahiyangana Road.

The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. Serenity Villa is amazing. The people will do anything they can to help, despite the language barrier. They were so helpful, friendly, attentive, kind and happy. They even helped to arrange a private Ayurvedic massage for my wife and I last the house. The property is nicely laid out, the garden well maintained and the food is fantastic (the owner is an experienced chef who worked in 5-star hotels for 20 years). We really enjoyed our stay at Serenity and if/when we come back to this part of the world, will eagerly stay here again. Highly recommend.
