The amazing view and beautiful gardens. The large confortable rooms. Visit to the local tea factory and walk to world’s end. Most of all the wonderful staff including Terence, attentive manager and Jakati, the chef who prepared delicious meals every day and presented it with a wide cheerful smile. Literally everything! From the beautiful architecture to the staff. The chef is amazing and every meal was special, the staff is incredibly kind and resourceful. Ayurveda treatments and yoga sessions are great. The silence and the view from the room will leave you speechless. Hope to be back soon!

⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!
