The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.

We stayed after stage 16 of pekoe trail. The owner sent a car to pick us up for free at the train station. We asked for lunch, dinner and breakfast, all the meals were homemade and delicious. The view is amazing. We had a great time here! The room was clean and the shower hot.

The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at badulla. The elegant décor of the rooms, top-notch amenities, and high-quality services are the prime attractions of this hotel. Very nice located home with fantastic view over Badulla. Short distance to city center, easy to get to by TukTuk. Quiet and clean. The rooms and bathrooms have a good size. Nice little pool to cool down and have a break. The owner is very friendly and helpful in all kind of things and comes with good tips for day activities and places to go/to eat. We had some fantastic days and can highly recommend this place.

Very nice, quiet and idyllic place situated by the river. Outstanding and very attentive service from manager and staff. Food from menu were excellent and prices very affordable. We had breakfast included and was one of the best we had on our 4 weeks trip in Sri Lanka. They have their own Tuk Tuk service with affordable prices. They arranged pick up at train station, and all transport we needed the two days we were in Badulla.

The host was very nice, attentive and helpful. He made everything to make a wonderful and perfect stay in Hali Ella. The room was super clean. Beds the most comfortable we haved in Sri Lanka and shower with hot water! Breakfast was also delicious and huge portions they even put it to take away! Close to Ella by train (only in the morning).Thank you for everything!
