I had an absoulutely beautiful experience staying at Mystay. Hosts were incredibly attentive to anything I needed, they were always available to provide great info about nearby spots and prices. While Mawanella in not a main tourist hotspot there are some gorgeous spots to explore if you like nature such as river with waterfalls, several hiking spots and trekking paths through the rainforest, it is an awesome location for nature lovers. Also, it's proximity to Kandy and Elefant sanctuary puts you in a great location to explore surrounding attractions. Hosts were always able to arrange local transport to wherever I needed to go and for amazing (local) price, can't thank them enough. Breakfast was wonderful, home made and super tasty. They also provided fruit and tea for my relaxing time, also plenty of bottled water all the time. Place is very spaceous and comfortable with garden around the house, there is also a lovely erected area, like a treehouse, for you to enjoy, that is surrounded with greenery, a great place to just relax and see some birds etc. All in all, a wonderful family that I'm happy to have met and I'm so thankful for all their help with information and transport. Hope I'll be able to stay there again sometines in the future.

We made a last-minute booking and were lucky to get the Sky Villa – a true gem and hidden treasure! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with a private jacuzzi pool and an unbeatable sense of privacy. The service was exceptional, with staff operating at the highest level of professionalism. Totally worth the price. The feeling of being on top of a giant rock is indescribable – truly unique! The room was brand new, and we learned the hotel only opened three months ago. You definitely won’t regret staying here!

Unbelievable good, the place is amazing. Everything is new and good quality There is a small rooftop infinity pool with a view of the jungle. The room has full length picture windows. The staff; Lakshitha and Guyan did everything we wanted and much more. They can arrange for an evening meal because, once you arrive you will not want to leave

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Amazing location on the street where elephants traverse to bathe and you have access to this property from a side street even when the main street is closed till 4pm. Staff was pleasant and uograded me to a private room when the dorms were overbooked. Great views for evening bat migration very pleasant stay overall.

Super clean, spacious room! The value for money is amazing here. Really close to the elephant freedom project which we visited! Staff were so friendly and helpful! I would reccomend staying here in your visiting Pinnalanda.

    The town is just a town with shops, supermarket etc. For food, my tour guide Prashan brought me to Upcountry Restaurant which is a nice place with a beautiful scenery. :) Go for the attractions like Bible Rock, Saradiel Hill etc. They are nice.
