I stayed one night with my family during a two-day trip to southern Sri Lanka, and the experience was delightful. The villa is located just a few kilometers from Matara town, in a peaceful neighborhood, and is very well maintained. It can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it ideal for families or groups. I had the pleasure of meeting both the manager and the property owner, who were exceptionally courteous and professional. At my request, they prepared a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers, chicken curry, dhal curry, and pol sambol, which was outstanding. I would gladly return for another stay.

One of the most friendly hosts in all Sri Lanka. The bungalow is beautiful located and well taken care of. Everything was very clean. My girlfriend had birthday while the stay and the host arranged a surprise for her - really really nice. Would come here definitely again!

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

The location couldn't be better; it offers access to a nearly "private" beach complete with comfortable long chairs for ultimate relaxation and sunbathing. Our stay at The Halcyon was amazing, the hotel is stunning and located on a such a beautiful unspoiled beach. My wife was not well when we first arrived and Zander (owner) and his staff when out of their way to make her feel comfortable. Breakfast was great, in fact all the food was spot on and the drink menu well thought out. We were there for the Sunday BBQ which was a real treat. We will be back 😀

Room was very nice and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, full Sri Lanka style with lovely pancakes and some very nice jam to go with the toast. location is perfect for access to the beach and restaurants with a shop opposite for essential items . Hosts were a lovely couple who helped us with our everything we needed.
